Organic Farming Practice

Chiliarch Coffee estate adheres to organic farming practices, avoiding the use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides. This commitment ensures that the coffee beans are free from harmful chemicals, preserving their quality and flavour. Additionally, organic farming helps maintain soil fertility, conserve water, and reduce the carbon footprint of coffee production.

At Chiliarch Coffee Estate, we embrace the sustainable practice of coffee agroforestry, which integrates our coffee cultivation with the natural ecosystem. Our carefully selected shade trees create a canopy that provides the perfect environment for our coffee plants to thrive. This practice not only protects our coffee from harsh sunlight but also promotes biodiversity, providing a habitat for wildlife. The shade trees also help maintain soil health, reducing erosion and enhancing nutrient cycling.

Roasting At The Origin

At YORZ Coffee, we prioritize quality, sustainability, and community support, which is why we roast our coffee beans at the origin. Roasting shortly after harvest ensures our coffee retains its freshness, flavour, and aroma, offering a superior coffee experience. This practice also reduces our environmental impact by minimizing transportation. Additionally, it adds value to the product and creates jobs in coffee-producing communities. Roasting at the origin is more than a choice for us; it reflects our commitment to excellence, sustainability, and community development.

Project Go School

YORZ Coffee is dedicated to supporting education in coffee-producing communities through scholarships. These scholarships provide financial assistance for mainly school supplies and transport, ensuring that children have access to quality education. By focusing on scholarships, YORZ Coffee aims to break down financial barriers and empower children to pursue their academic goals. Through this initiative, YORZ Coffee is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children in coffee communities, helping them build a better future for themselves and their families.

We work with the local coffee community to provide wheelchair, medical and daily supplies for the people with a disability.
